What is flash tube?

Flash tubes are electronic devices that produce short and powerful bursts of light. They are used in a variety of applications, including photography, lighting, and signaling, to produce a quick burst of intense light. Flash tubes are composed of a sealed glass tube filled with a xenon gas and a series of electrodes. When a high voltage pulse is applied across the electrodes, the xenon gas ionizes and releases a burst of light. Flash tubes are commonly used in photography as a source of high-speed illumination, as they can provide a burst of light that is bright enough to freeze fast moving objects or to overcome ambient light in low light conditions. Flash tubes are also used in strobe lights, emergency signal lamps, and other lighting applications where a short, intense burst of light is required.
